Ranking All Assassins Creed Games (2020)
There’s no better time to rank the games from the acclaimed Assassins Creed franchise. During the pandemic, video games and anime seem to be the best ways to pass the time. With eleven games to rank from worst to best, this franchise has produced thousands of entertaining content.
11. Assassins Creed (2007)
The first game of the entire franchise was great at its time and develop the template the rest of the franchise would follow to this day.
The only negatives about this game would be the parkour aspects in certain aspects and the lack of content once you end the main story.
The twist of playing as a templar and the connections it has to the plots of AC Unity and AC III are worth playing. The only negative is that at times the game feels more like DLC than a full game.
This game took place in Victorian Era London. In this entire franchise, you are allowed to go back and forth between Jacob and Evie Fyre. The map and content in this game are awesome.
Jacob and Evie also have different abilities that allow them to be different while playing with missions.
The last game of the Ezio trilogy delivered a satisfying ending to the best protagonist of the franchise. The main story of the show going between EzioAltair and Desmond trying to wake up is great told.
The game didn’t change much from the previous game (Brotherhood) except for the graphics and the addition of the hook blade.
Odessy is a good game but one of its major flaws is the fact that it doesn’t feel like a proper Assassins Creed game. Exploring Greece is really interesting and the missions related to the myths of Greece are the highlight of the game.
Another major problem is the modern-day stuff, to this day Ubisoft struggles to create an interesting story in the modern days since Desmond’s death.
This is the controversial take of the ranking. Unity is a very underrated game if we ignore the glitches, the game itself is beautiful and with a great map to explore.
The DLC Dead Kings is also very good and with an interesting story to tell.
5. Assassins Creed 3
Following Ezio as a protagonist would be a difficult task, especially considering how iconic Ezio is to the franchise. Connor Kenway is an underrated protagonist and traveling through the American Revolution.
The combat and parkour improved a lot from the entries on the game to that point. King Washington is one of the best DLCs of the franchise worth playing.
This game was a much-needed breath of fresh air for the franchise. The main story and map are some of the best in the franchise. The game can offer a lot of hours of entertainment.
3. Black Flag
Pirates and assassins!!! A match made in heaven. Edward Kenway is one of the best protagonists of the franchise. From amazing hand-to-hand combat mechanics to entertaining ship battles, you will never be bored in this game.
The only negative in this game like other entries of the franchise is the modern-day stuff.
2. Assassins Creed 2
This game improved so much from its predecessor, is not even funny. It was the first game we were introduced to the iconic and best protagonist of the franchise; Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
This is the perfect Assassins Creed game. The game all the franchise makes is a major inspiration to copy.
1. Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Ubisoft took the perfect game that was AC II and improved it. The second entry of the Ezio trilogy delivers in every way possible.
Exploring Rome is so fun and the multiplayer is another interesting aspect of the game.
